IRIA Charger is taking part in a conference on sustainable business mobility in Osona
IRIA Charger took part in the conference ‘How does mobility affect your business?’, held on 29 June at the regional office of the Barcelona Chamber of Commerce in Vic.
The event was organised by the Osona Business Council, in collaboration with the Barcelona Chamber of Commerce in Osona, Creacció and the economic development offices of Osona and Lluçanès. The session brought together businesses, professionals and local stakeholders with the aim of sharing experiences and analysing the main challenges associated with commuting.
During the event, participants discussed how companies can reduce reliance on private cars, facilitate access to workplaces and move towards more efficient, sustainable and decarbonised mobility models.
Various solutions were also discussed, such as active mobility, public transport, car-sharing, flexible working hours and infrastructure improvements. These measures, as well as reducing environmental impact, can contribute to staff wellbeing, the recruitment and retention of talent, and better business organisation.
Electric charging as part of the transition
In this context, IRIA Charger shared its perspective on the role of electric vehicle charging solutions within corporate mobility plans.
Installing charging infrastructure at companies and workplaces helps to support the electrification of mobility, facilitates the day-to-day use of electric vehicles and offers new travel options to employees, customers and partners.
Taking part in events of this kind allows us to gain a first-hand understanding of companies’ real needs, share experiences with other stakeholders in the region and continue working on solutions tailored to an increasingly connected, accessible and sustainable mobility landscape.
At IRIA Charger, we would like to thank the organisers and all the participating companies for creating this space for dialogue and collaboration.
We continue to power the future of mobility.
